Big Ideas
This is a poster I made for a class project. What I wanted to go for was a bit of a visual pun with a kind of comic book/old movie poster style. To give it that cartoony style, I decided to make it lineless, somewhat like the cartoon show "South Park" or the online comic Scary-Go-Round. Then, when designing the light bulb monster, I directly went to an old "War of the Worlds" movie poster.
Basically, I wanted something very cheesy but also very hip and slightly retro.
